Aditi Rao Hydari Walks The Ramp For Tarun Tahiliani

While Aditi Rao Hydari is awaiting the release of Chekka Chivantha Vaanamher second collaboration with Mani Ratnam after Kaatru Veliyidai, the actress has signed her next Tamil film with director Mysskin which has Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead.

The actress, who made her Tamil debut with Kaatru Veliyidai, will start shooting for the film soon. Not much details are available about her role, but she told The Times of India, “For me, it’s all about the director and his vision. I’ve followed Mysskin sir’s work, and I really like his style of filmmaking. His work is meaningful, and as an actress, it’s amazing to listen to him explain your character. I’m looking forward to working with him.”

As reported earlier, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj was pegged to be the lead initially, but when he couldn’t take up the project, Udhaiyanidhi Stalin came on board.

In Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Aditi plays the role of journalist. The multi-starrer film is scheduled to release on September 28. Her last film was in Telugu, Sammohanam, which was a critical and a commercial hit. She will be seen in another Telugu film Antariksham 9000 KMPH, a space adventure film directed by Sankalp Reddy and also starring Varun Tej. Talking about the film and dubbing in Telugu, the actress had earlier told Silverscreen, “For me it’s important to work with directors who have something interesting up their sleeves. I am not that great with languages and I don’t think it will happen that easily. I am good with mugging up lines and I give it my all and take all the help needed to ensure there’s no trouble in the lip sync. I am working hard for this film and can’t wait for the audience to see the film. I love challenges and anything that pushes me out of my comfort zone is welcome!”

Her last Hindi film was Padmaavat where she played the role of Alauddin Khilji’s wife, Mehrunisa.
