In Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Aditi plays the role of journalist. The multi-starrer film is scheduled to release on September 28. Her last film was in Telugu, Sammohanam, which was a critical and a commercial hit. She will be seen in another Telugu film Antariksham 9000 KMPH, a space adventure film directed by Sankalp Reddy and also starring Varun Tej. Talking about the film and dubbing in Telugu, the actress had earlier told Silverscreen, “For me it’s important to work with directors who have something interesting up their sleeves. I am not that great with languages and I don’t think it will happen that easily. I am good with mugging up lines and I give it my all and take all the help needed to ensure there’s no trouble in the lip sync. I am working hard for this film and can’t wait for the audience to see the film. I love challenges and anything that pushes me out of my comfort zone is welcome!”

Her last Hindi film was Padmaavat where she played the role of Alauddin Khilji’s wife, Mehrunisa.
