Prabhu told Silverscreen that the title has not been finalised as yet. “The title does sound very thrilling. We are still on the lookout for a film title. Now that Athiradi is trending, we cannot use it anymore. The title, when we do announce it, will definitely surprise you.”

Prabhu said that all Silambarasan movies have interesting titles. “When people think of a Venkat Prabhu-Silambarasan combination, the title has to be fresh and unique. We are working on it.”

The director also said that the film will be officially launched soon.

Dismissing rumours that the film is a remake of Ajith’s Billa 2, Venkat said: “In an earlier interview, I had said that I wanted to remake Ajith’s Billa 2. Now that Silambarasan is onboard, these rumours are back. My new film is based on a completely fresh script and is not connected to any old movies.”

The project is being produced by Suresh Kamatchi. Prabhu and his team are finalising the rest of the cast and crew. This is Venkat Prabhu’s ninth directorial venture.

Venkat Prabhu is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming Party. A single from the film – ‘Cha Cha Charey’ sung by actors Suriya and Karthi was released recently. The director is also part of the song.
