A little over a month after the actress sent a notice to Honey Bee 2 director Jean Paul and actor Sreenath Bhasi, reports now suggest that the actress has withdrawn her complaint.
According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the actress made a statement about settling the issue at the district additional sessions court on Thursday while considering an anticipatory bail application of the accused. The court then directed her to file an affidavit and the police not to arrest the accused till August 16, the date fixed for further hearing on the bail plea.
The actress was a part of Honey Bee 2 which released this year. She had filed a police complaint last month, saying that Jean Paul used a body double for her character without her permission. She also alleged that he and his team made lewd remarks at her when she met them at Pannakad Hotel to discuss her remuneration.
