Actor Nandha will play a cop in his next film – Kallaattam. According to the film’s press release, Nandha will play a cop working undercover to try and expose a chain snatching gang in the thriller film.
Cinematographer-turned-director Ramesh G is at the helm of Kallaattam. Talking about the movie, director Ramesh G said, “Unlike other cop movies, we have showcased police officers with high esteem. It reinstates the idea that ‘police are people’s trusted friends’. The story is about how the hero saves a child who battles for her life after a mishap with a chain snatcher.”
Actor Richard has been cast in a major role in the movie while Actress Shaarika will be seen as the female lead. Interestingly, both the lead actors, Richard and Nandha were last seen in the same movie, Adhibar. Music for the movie has been composed by Umar Ezhilan.

Actor Nandha is best known for his role as the scheming husband in the 2009 romantic-horror, Eeram. He made his acting debut with a key role in Suriya starrer Mounam Pesiyadhey. He went on to play lead roles in film such as Punnagai Poove, Kodambakkam and Anandhapurathu Veedu.
Ramesh G has handled cinematography in movies like Thiruda Thirudi, Azhwar and King among others. He made his directorial debut with Iruvar Ullam, starring Vinay Rai. The movie is currently under production.
