Speaking at a special screening of Saala Khadoos, Hirani’s latest production, Aamir said, “Raju Hirani has given me a hint about 3 Idiots sequel and I am giving you all a hint. Aamir Khan after 3 Idiots, joined hands with the director for the film PK. The movie was declared a massive success at the box office. The director has been missing in action since then.

Aamir Khan currently has two projects in the pipeline. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari the actor will be seen in Dangal, an upcoming, biographical sports film. Aamir Khan portrays the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, an Indian wrestler, and Olympics coach, who trains his daughters to compete at the Commonwealth games. The film is expected to release in December, 2016.

It is also reported that after Dangal’s release, the actor will start filming for Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thug. His role in Thug would be a lighter one, on the lines of his Rangeela character. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films.
