Aalamaram, starring Hemanth Kumar and Avanthika Mohan, will hit the theaters in October. The horror film set in a rural milieu marks the directorial debut of SN Duraisingh, a former associate of K Bhagyaraj.
The movie, which was made on a modest budget is a mix of romance and horror. Director Duraisingh said that special effects were used sparingly, and added, “We have relied on special makeup and some other ingenious ways to make things look scary without compromising on quality. It was a fun learning experience for everyone!”
The film is currently in post production.
