Yogi Babu has signed up for a 3-D film, directed by debut filmmaker Vinayak Shiva. It is said to be an adult horror-comedy film, starring Yashika Anand and Nikki Tamboli in lead roles.
Director Vinayak Siva, a vis-com graduate, said that his main consideration is to not be offensive in the film. He said in a press statement, ” I would label this film as a ‘naughty’ instead of ‘adult horror comedy’ to justify its content. The main thing I have considered while writing the script, is to not be offensive or degrade anyone.”
“The film will be fun, perky, and an absolute entertainment with eeriness too. We are attempting to give a spine-chilling experience with visual effects and 3-D,” he said.
About the film’s cast and crew, he said, “At the moment, we have Yogi Babu, who happens to be the current sensational icon of Tamil industry. He has an important role with Yashika Anand and Nikki Tamboli. Talks are on with other familiar actors and technicians. Official announcement will be made soon. ”
It is speculated that the film will have visual effects technicians who worked on Rajinikanth’s 2.0. The film is currently in its pre-production stage, and is likely to go on floors in mid-January.

This will be the second horror film for Yogi Babu and Yashika Anand, after director Bhuvan R Nullan’s horror comedy Zombie. Yogi Babu will play a don in Zombie, and Yashika Aanand, a medical college student. Shoot for the film started in December.
Yogi Babu also has Gurkha and Dharma Prabhu under production. He plays the lead role in both the films. He will also be seen in Airaa, Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, Shaitan Ka Bachcha, 100% Kadhal, Kuppathu Raja, Silukkuvarupatti Singam, Viswasam, Aalukku Paathi 50/50, Sathuranga Vettai 2, Adangathey, Nindru Kolvaan, and Maanik.
