Actor Vijay Sethupathi’s next film will be with director Paneer Selvam of Renigunta fame. Produced by AM Rathnam under his home banner Shri Sai Raam Creations, the project is still at its nascent stage. “We are yet to sign on the dotted line. An official confirmation will be announced soon after,” said the director.
Vijay Sethupathi has had a successful year. With four releases so far, the actor awaits the release of his upcoming movie, Aandavan Kattalai. The movie is scheduled to release on 23 September. Aandavan Kattalai, directed by M Manikandan stars Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame as the female lead with Pooja Devariya, Vela Ramamoorthy, RNR Manohar in major roles.

He also has another release scheduled after Aandavan Kattalai. Director Rathina Shiva’s Rekka will release on 7 October. The movie has Lakshmi Menon as the female lead. The actor plays an advocate who is forced to kidnap a girl in the film. The action film has music composed by D Imman and is bankrolled by B Ganesh.

The actor is currently filming for Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai. He also has a movie with KV Anand in the pipeline. Starring Madonna Sebastian, the movie began shooting in July. The movie has music by Hiphop Tamiza.
