According to reports, the new film is also Tamil-Telugu bilingual directed by debutant Sri Karthik. Yogi Babu, Priyadharshini and Rahul Ramakrishna may play supporting roles.

It was speculated that SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, currently working on Suriya’s NGK, are this film’s producers. But SR Prabhu has denied this, and there is no official confirmation from the filmmakers either.

Another report suggests that the actor is being paid heavily for this film to bring him on board. The article also says his fans want him to think twice before signing up for the film, they’re pointing out that Mahesh Babu’s bilingual Spyder wasn’t a commercial hit.
