Produced by Red Giants, the movie has actresses Regina Cassandra and Srushti Dange in major roles along with comedian Soori. D Imman will compose the music. The movie is said to be a comedy entertainer much along the lines of Ezhil’s last movie, Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran. The movie will be reportedly shot in and around Karaikal. The movie will head for a Christmas release.

Interestingly, all of Udhayanidhi’s films have inevitably run into trouble with the Tamil Nadu Tax Exemption Committee. With his films routinely denied exemption from entertainment tax, the actor made a backhanded remark recently saying that one simply needs to sell the film’s theatrical rights to Jazz cinemas to enjoy tax exemption. He was seemingly referring to the the political affiliations of the firm, reportedly owned by Sasikala, a close confidants of J.Jayalailthaa.

While his last movie Manidhan was denied exemption on the grounds that the word wasn’t Tamil but Sanskrit, his previous movie Gethu also faced the same the same issue. After contesting in court, Gethu became the actor’s first film to be awarded entertainment tax exemption.

Featuring Nivetha Pethuraj as the female lead, actor Parthiepan also plays a major role in the movie. He also has a Gaurav Narayanan directorial in the pipeline and an action entertainer in which he will be seen alongside Vishnu Vishal.
