Director Nalan Kumarasamy of Soodhu Kavvum fame has clarified that Trisha will not be playing any part in his upcoming Eskimo Kadhal as was being rumoured earlier. Reportedly, the director was not considering Trisha as the role wasn’t suitable for her.
It was also rumoured that Suriya will be the male lead; however that fell through as well and now, Vijay Sethupathi plays protagonist.
Talking about the movie’s unusual title, a source explained that “it points to the friendship between the hero and the heroine and a small incident that occurs in the film would justify it more”.
Eskimo Kadhal will go on floors in 2015.
