Telugu Actress Sri Reddy Accuses Director Sekhar Kammula Of Sexual Misconduct; He Vows Legal Action

Sri Reddy Mallidi, a struggling actress from the Telugu film industry, has accused Fidaa director Sekhar Kammula of sexual misconduct. The actress, in a Facebook post, alleged various filmmakers seeking sexual favours and how most directors would not choose a Telugu actress for films. She recently suggested Kammula’s name for assuring her work but not honoring it.

“This man believes that Telugu actresses are only good for sleeping with him. He insists on a video call and will do anything for you to make one video call. He uses technology to his advantage. He is a man who will break promises and he is said to be even taking money from youngsters for giving roles in the movies. He is our very own Sekharudu,” she wrote (loosely translated).

The director last evening took to social media slamming her allegations, adding that he has never met her. He further said that if the posts are not removed, he will seek legal action against her.

“I could never imagine in my wildest dreams that a woman whom I don’t know, have not seen or never spoken to in person or on the phone can suddenly make these baseless allegations. Whatever might be their intentions and whoever might be involved in this diabolic act , I would like to say that it is WRONG, IMMORAL and CRIMINAL. [sic],” he wrote.

The actress has since continued to put out further posts, promising to reveal more about the industry.
