‘Streets to Street Dancer’ To Pay Tribute To Dancers Across The Globe

Actors Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor along with the Street Dancer 3D team have launched a campaign dedicated to dancers. The series titled Streets to Street Dancer will deal with the lives of six different dancers who play an important part in the film. Helmed by Remo D’Souza and bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar and, Lizelle D’Souza, this initiative is a part of the promotions for the film. Varun and Shraddha will be seen together again for the third part of the franchise, after ABCD 2.

The team took to Twitter to release the logo of the campaign recently.

The first episode talks about dancer Nivedita Sharma and the hurdles she faced while trying to pursue her dream. The team speaks of her as their favourite because of her charisma and ‘X Factor’ as Varun Dhawan calls it.

Sources told Silverscreen that Street Dancer 3D which is officially the third part of the ABCD franchise could not be titled so due to copyright issues. The team decided to go with the current title because of the colossal amount of money that was to be paid for the procurement of the other title.

The movie also stars Prabhudeva and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles and is slated for release on 24th January 2020.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is busy with the shooting of Coolie No. 1 directed by David Dhawan, co-starring Sara Ali Khan which will hit the theatres on May 1, 2020. The official remake of the 1995 film starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor was in the news recently because of the crew’s promise to only use steel bottles on set. Shraddha Kapoor who was last seen in Saaho and Chhichhore will next be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi 3 opposite Tiger Shroff which recently went on floors.
