Singers Andrea, Srinivas, Shakthisree Gopalan, Sunitha Sarathy, Suchi, Ranjith, Rahul Nambiar, Thiruchur Brothers and Haricharan Seshadri will perform at a concert called Hum Hain… Umeed-e-Kashmir. The programme is hosted by Event and Entertainment Management Association and the proceeds from the concert will go towards Kashmir flood relief. Speaking at the press meet, singer Sunitha Sarathy said, “Musicians in Tamil cinema have always come forward to support a cause. We think it is our responsibility to help the victims.” The singers have agreed to perform free of cost.
Hum Hain… Umeed-e-Kashmir will be held on October 18 at Sir Mutha Vekatasubarao Concert Hall at 6.30 pm. The concert will happen at the same time in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Jaipur.
