Shruti Hassan is singing for Dhanush’s second film in Hindi after the critically acclaimed Raanjhanaa. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja is composing the music for the film which is being directed by R Balki and also marks the debut of Akshara Haasan. While it is not clear if Shruti will be singing for Akshara’s character, sources confirmed that Shruti was in Chennai for a day last week to record the song at Illayaraja’s studio. Amitabh Bachchan also plays a pivotal role in the film.
