Rumour mills are buzzing with the news that Shruti Haasan has been roped in for the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan. However, a source from the team has informed us that the makers are yet to zero in on a leading lady.
“Several heroines, including Shruti, are under consideration, but nobody has been finalized yet,” a source told Silverscreen.in, and added that other leading actresses such as Nayantara, Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannaah Bhatia are being considered for the role.
The remake will be directed by Surender Reddy and will feature Ram Charan Teja in the lead, while Arvind Swamy will reprise his own role from the original.
