According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, the actor plays the female lead in SP Jananathan’s film, said to be a romantic drama. The director’s last film was Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai starring Vijay Sethupathi, Arya and Shaam in the lead.

It is expected that the film will be a different one as Jananathan is known for films with hard-hitting themes and a focus on female leads, and Vijay Sethupathi is known for experimenting with the characters he plays.
