Director Rohit Shetty has not roped in actor Prabhas for his next. Over the past few days, several reports had indicated that Shetty would helm Prabhas’ Bollywood debut.
The Golmaal director, meanwhile, has dismissed the reports as ‘fake news’.
Rohit Shetty said, “It is fake news! I’m in Spain for the last three weeks shooting for Fear Factor. I don’t know where this rumour started”
Rumours of Prabhas’ Bollywood debut have been in circulation ever since Baahubali released. At one point, Karan Johar was attached to produce a film with the Telugu actor. Now, rumours indicate that Bollywood actor Salman Khan might rope in Prabhas for a new film. Prabhas, meanwhile, has refused to comment on the issue.

Meanwhile, Shetty’s Golmaal Again is scheduled to releaee around Deepavali this year. The director will likely move on to a film with Ranveer Singh next.
Prabhas is also hard at work on Telugu-Tamil-Hindi film Saaho, in which he will share screenspace with Anushka Shetty. Neil Nitin Mukesh will likely play villain.
