Director Ram of Thanga Meengal fame, who is currently busy with the post-production works of Taramani, is all ready with his next script. This project, titled Peranbu, will feature Mammootty and Anjali in the lead roles. Sources say that shooting of Peranbu, will commence from January 6 in Kodaikanal.
Director Ram was unavailable for comment.

Child artist Sadhana, who won critical acclaim for her realistic acting in Thanga Meengal, will also be playing a significant role in Peranbu. Peranbu’s core script is said to be based on human compassion.
Like Ram’s previous ventures, Peranbu will have music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Produced by PL Thenappan under Shree Raja Lakshmi Films, this film has editor Sreekar Prasad and lyricist Na Muthukumar in its technical team.
Actor Mammootty’s noteworthy films in Tamil include Aanandham, Kandukondein Kandukondein, Thalapathy and Azhagan.
