Rajinikanth has reportedly suffered minor injuries while shooting for Man vs Wild today. Ndtv reported, “Sources say Rajinikanth suffered minor injury on ankle and bruises on his shoulder.”

News agency ANI had earlier today shared footage of Rajinikanth arriving in Bandipur Tiger Reserve and National Park. The actor was in Karnataka to shoot for an episode of Man Vs Wild with Bear Grylls. He has now returned to Chennai, according to news reports.

Wildlife activist Joseph Hoover told Asianet, “It was a small fall. He fell on Lantana shrub and suffered scratches on his arm.” After the fall this afternoon, shoot was wrapped up.

The last time Grylls shot in India for Man vs Wild was with Prime Minister Modi. Modi came under attack for continuing to shoot for the show for hours after the Pulwama terror attack.
