Thambi Ramaiah’s role from Thani Oruvan will be played by writer-turned-comedian Posani Krishna Murali. He will portray Ram Charan’s father in the remake. The project is scheduled to go on floors later this month. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swamy. This will be Rakul and Ram’s second project, after last year’s Bruce Lee: The Fighter. Ram Charan plays an IPS officer in the film.
