Malayalam superstar Mohanlal ascended the stage as a full-fledged magician recently at Trivandrum. The actor, who performed the trick ‘floating lady’ with young magician Zenia Bhumgara, looked the part in a deep blue cloak, hat and wand. The act, which lasted about three minutes, was done in the presence of the Kerala CM, the opposition leader and world renowned magician, Juliana Chen.
He was initially slated to team up with magician Gopinath Muthukad a few years back to perform a daring escape act. But he was later forced to drop the idea when he faced opposition from all over the state. Street magicians from all over the country also took part in the event.
