‘Madhayaanai Kootam’ Director Vikram Sugumaran’s Next Titled ‘Therum Porum’

Vikram Sugumaran, whose debut Madhayaanai Kootam showcased the life and culture of the people of south Tamil Nadu, will next direct a film titled Therum Porum. ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh, who was last seen in Irandam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu, will play the lead in this film.

Music for this film is by Justin Prabhakaran. Music for the songs of this film, which have been penned by lyricist Ekadasi, have been scored. In fact, all the songs of the film have already been recorded.

Cinematographer M Sukumar, whose previous work includes films like Mynaa, Kumki, Sketch, and Bairavaa will be cranking the camera for this film. Art direction for the film will be by Rajeevan and Editing be by Lawrence Kishore.

Therum Porum, is reportedly being made on a ‘huge budget’ and is scheduled to go on floors in the first week of March. Shooting will begin in Sivaganga district and adjoining areas.

Actor Arul Dass and Karthik Durai make their debut as producers. They are producing this film on behalf of Thai Saravanan’s Nallusamy Productions. Nallusamy Productions has previously produced films like Vil Ambu and Kennedy Club.
