The teaser of the Vaibhav and Venkat Prabhu starrer Lock Up is out now. Debutant SG Charles, a former associate of director Mohan Raja will be helming the film produced by Nithin Sathya under his banner Shvedh. This will mark Nithin Sathya’s second production after the 2018 action-comedy Jarugandi which starred Jai, Reba Monica John, and Amit Tiwari in the lead.
The teaser features an anxious cop, played by Vaibhav who is found running about, imploring someone for a mistake he claims to have made. He teams up with his colleague played by Venkat Prabhu and carelessly fires a gun. Vani Bhojan, Shamna Kasim a.k.a Poorna, Eswari Rao and Vathikuchi fame Dileepan also feature in the teaser. We also get to see shots of a knife right through the teaser. Backing the teaser is director-producer Gautham Menon‘s narration about how one keeps adding on to their mistakes instead of seeking redemption.

Santhanam Sekar will handle the camera, Anand Gerald will edit and Arrol Corelli is composing music. Anandh Mani will helm art and ‘Miracle’ Michael Raj is handling stunts.
The film touted to be an investigative thriller has wrapped up shoot and is currently in the post-production stage.
The makers had recently released the first look poster of the film.
