Actor Dileep is presently in custody at the Aluva sub-jail for his role in the abduction and alleged sexual assault case of a Malayalam actress. According to a report, Dileep’s financial assets and bank accounts could be frozen by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

The police has said the Ramaleela actor’s statements have been vague, and this has lead to further suspicion about his financial dealings. The team is in touch with the ED as Dileep’s finances are being scrutinised. This also includes benami dealings made by the actor.
The actor owns several cinema multiplexes and a restaurant chain in Kerala, and is said to be involved in various projects with his co-stars and friends outside the film industry. He will be in judicial custody for 14 days.
The ED is expected to go full swing after the police completes its investigation on the actor’s role in the case and the conspiracy angle.
