After an impressive performance in Nadigaiyar Thilagam/Mahanati, Keerthy Suresh has been choosy when it comes to her next project. Even before the film’s release, she was part of big ticket projects such as Saamy Square, Vijay’s Sarkar, and Vishal’s Sandakozhi 2. Now, reports reveal that she might pair up with Simbu in Venkat Prabhu’s next.
However, reports indicate that her fans are not very happy about her teaming up with Simbu. However, an official confirmation from the actress is awaited.
Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, the makers are in talks with AR Rahman and PC Sriram for handling the film’s music and cinematography. An official announcement about the cast and crew of the film is expected soon.

Dismissing rumors that the film is a remake of Ajith’s Billa 2, director Venkat recently clarified the film has a fresh script and is not a remake. He also cleared speculations about film’s title.
There were rumours on social media that the film was titled Adhiradi. However, Prabhu told Silverscreen that the title has not been finalised as yet. “The title does sound very thrilling. We are still on the lookout for a film title. Now that Athiradi is trending, we cannot use it anymore. The title, when we do announce it, will definitely surprise you.”
Meanwhile, Venkat’s Party is all set to hit screens. The film as an ensemble cast, including Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Shiva, Jai and Chandran. Music is by Premgi Amaren.

Meanwhile, Simbu who became infamous for his irregular shooting schedule, seems to have come around. The actor has completed shooting for Mani Ratnam’s multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The film also stars Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari, Arun Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi.
Simbu is also in talks with Vijaya Studios for a new film, is expected to team up with Kalaipuli S Thanu’s production house for a movie, and return to director Gautham Menon for Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’s sequel. Sources suggest Simbu might be in talks with D16 fame Karthick Naren for a film.
