Actor Chandran of Kayal fame will be seen next in Venkat Prabhu’s direction, according. Although this movie has Venkat Prabhu at the helm, the script will be written by director M Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi fame. The movie will be a laugh riot with an interesting story line, according to reports.
Chandran is currently working on Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam, directed by debutant director Sudhar. Satna Titus who was previously seen in Vijay Antony’s Pichaikkaran will play the female lead role. The movie, said to be a heist-comedy, has actor Parthiepan in an important role. Music Director Ashwath of Nalanum Nandiniyum fame will compose the music.
The actor has Graganam and Roobai, a Prabhu Solomon’s production, in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu’s Chennai 60028-II has neared its completion. It made news recently when the director announced that he had roped in five filmmakers to shoot the climax sequence. The movie has retained many of the actors from the first installment. The cast also includes newcomers Anjana, Krithika, and Maheshwari Sana. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer for the film.
The film is slated for a 2017 release.
