Actor Kalaiarasan, who is currently shooting for Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth’s Kabali, will play the lead in Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum. Directed by ‘Odam’ Ilavarasu, Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum will be co-produced by T Siva of Amma Creations, and 2MB & Big Print Pictures.

Kalaiarasan is best known for his role as ‘Anbu’ in Madras. In Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum, the actor is expected to play a romantic hero, along the lines of Gemini Ganesan’s characters. Actor Soori will provide the comic relief. Soori’s character will resemble Suruli Rajan’s comic roles. Supporting roles will be played by Ilavarasu and Mayilsamy. The film also has on board cinematographer Prakash. Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum will begin shooting in December.
Coincidentally, actor Jiiva’s next film has been titled Gemini Ganesan.
