P Vasu has reportedly approached Kajal Agarwal for his next project, a woman-centric film. The Chandramukhi director confirmed to Deccan Chronicle that talks are on with the actress.
“I am presently in Australia and will be returning to India by the end of July. I will be discussing the schedules and all then. Kajal has expressed interest in the project. Let’s see how things go,” he said.
It is reported that the actress was impressed with the story-line and the fact that it has a thriller-action element to it.

Incidentally, in an interview from a few months ago, P Vasu admitted that he might make an announcement about a project he had initially approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for. The director is yet to confirm if this was the project he was talking about.
Kajal Agarwal, meanwhile, has completed filming her portions for Vijay’s Mersal. She also has her Tamil-Telugu film, Nene Raja Nene Mantri, with Rana Daggubati, slated to release next month.
