Jyotika has reportedly signed up for a film with director Kalyan, whose Gulebagavali released in 2018. According to reports, the film will also star Revathi, who will be playing a pivotal role, with Jyotika playing the lead. The film was officially announced and launched recently.

Described as a full-length comedy entertainer, the film also co-stars Yogi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan and Anandaraj in supporting roles. Produced by Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment, the film has music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, who worked on Jil Jung Juk. It is said that the film might also be dubbed in Telugu.
A report in The Indian Express says that talks are going on to rope in three veteran actor-directors: Bharathiraaja, Bhagyaraj and Parthiepan, and bring them together in one film. If this happens, it will be a first. However there is no official confirmation about this. Interestingly, Bhagyaraj worked under director Bharathiraja, while Parthiepan was an assistant director of Bhagyaraj. It is said that the makers are planning to kick start the project in March.

Meanwhile, Jyotika has also signed up for two more films; one directed by S. Raj and other to be directed by JJ Frederick. The film which is directed by Raj will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. It also has an impressive star cast including Poornima Bhagyaraj, Hareesh Peradi, Sathyan, Kavitha Bharathi and others. The film will feature Jyotika as a Government school teacher and the film is reportedly nearing completion.
Whereas the next with JJ Frederick, who is a former assistant of Endrendrum Punnagai’s Ahmed is currently in the pre-production stage. The music for the film is composed by Govind Vasantha, who impressed audiences with his composition in 96.
On the other hand, rumors also say that Jyotika might be roped in to play a female lead in SJ Suryah and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Uyarndha Manidhan. The film will be directed by Thamizhvannan of Kalvanin Kadhali fame.
