Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi is likely to compose the music for producer CV Kumar’s new project, to be directed by Ravikumar. Aadhi remained tight-lipped when reached for comment, but a source confirmed that the project will hit the floors soon and that Aadhi has been signed on as the music director.
The movie, like all CV Kumar productions, will have a tight schedule and be shot in around 30 – 45 days, and is likely to be a May 2016 release. Actor Karunakaran is in talks to play the lead role.

Hiphop Tamizha is a music duo with lead vocalist Aadhi and musician Jeeva. The duo rose to fame after their single Club le from their debut album went viral. Aadhi is a close associate of Anirudh Ravichander and is also a part of the recent Kaththi soundtrack.
Director Ravikumar had earlier assisted Nalan Kumarasamy’s Soodhu Kavvum and was an associate of Karthik Subbaraj in Pizza. He rose to prominence after making a short film titled Zero Km, and was also closely involved in the scripting for Mundasupatti.
CV Kumar’s production house, Thirukumaran Entertainment, will officially announce the project soon.
