The film also stars Person Jackson, Clifton, Erica Pinket, Dennis “LA” White. Produced by Kyyba Films in association with Nasik Rav Media and KOE (Kingdom Over Everything) Studios, the film is touted as a hip urban drama.

G V Prakash and producer Tel K Ganesan of Kyyba Films met mediapersons in Chennai for an interaction on the film. Producer Tel Ganesan said, “I wanted to make this film last year. I had met G V Prakash in connection with a sound track. It was then that I asked him to be a part of this project.”

The producer revealed that Brandon Jackson plays the lead in the film and that GV Prakash has an important role, as a surgeon in the film. According to the producer, it is GV Prakash’s character that saves the hero’s life. “Brandon gets shot and it is G V Prakash, who saves the hero in the film. After an attempt on his life, he faces the greatest choice of his life,” the producer said.

Explaining his choice for the role, the producer said, “When I met him, I realised that he had potential. I loved his work.” He also said that this film would increase the actor’s visibility much more than his current exposure with the local and international audiences since the market for English films is bigger.

The producer also revealed that the film will release worldwide in English first, followed by the dubbed Tamil version. The film also features actor Napoleon in the film, he plays Brandon’s bodyguard in the film.

Talking to the media about the experience of working on the film, actor and music director G V Prakash said that he thoroughly enjoyed working on the project. “Both are different industries and therefore, one cannot compare. The primary difference I found was that they use Live sound and therefore, no prompting is possible when one delivers lines.”

The actor-composer, did not, however, have any scenes with Napoleon. He said, “I met Napoleon sir, and visited his home in Nashville.” The actor however clarified that he had only acted in Trap City and that he hadn’t scored its music. On the home front, G V Prakash said his next film will be Vasantabalan’s Jail for which he is composing the music.
