Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas is set to make his debut in Tamil with Abhiyum Anuvum. The first look of the film, featuring Tovino and Piaa Bajpai, was unveiled by director AR Murugadoss today.

The movie has the tagline, ‘A Fearless Love Story’, and is expected to be an out-and-out romantic entertainer. The film is reportedly based on a real-life love story, and was extensively shot in Chennai and Kerala. This Tamil-Malayalam bilingual is also the directorial debut of cinematographer BR Vijayalakshmi, who has handled the camera for 22 feature films.
Tovino Thomas is currently filming Tharangam, Oru Bayangara Kamukan, Tick Tock and Mayanadhi. Tharangam will mark Dhanush’s debut as producer in the Malayalam industry.
Abhiyum Anuvum is scheduled to release on September 22.
