Film reporters, especially critics will tell you that Thursdays and Fridays are the best and the worst days of their week. (As will die-hard fans of some actors). This is when, in the last minute, movies get re-scheduled, postponed or advanced, out of the blue without warning.

This week, after much hype Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta was all set for release. We thought. And Sivappu Manjal Pachai was to release next week, though initially it was to release this week. We thought. Now it seems Gautham Menon’s ENPT will release next week (maybe, or later in the weekend if various ‘sources’ are to be believed. There’s also buzz that the filmmaker’s next movie may be produced by Lyca, starring Suriya. And that Gautham Menon is on his way to London to settle the deal).
What we do finally know for sure is that Sivappu Manjal Pachai is releasing this weekend. Spare a thought for us, while we try to go wing a ticket as soon as the box office opens.
