Actor RK’s next film, En Vazhi Thani Vazhi, will release in November. Directed by Shaji Kailas, the movie sees RK playing a cop. The duo teams up for the second time after Ellam Avan Seyal. At a press meet that was held recently, RK explained that the film is titled after a popular MGR dialogue. “Almost everyone thought I had used Rajinikanth’s dialogue from Padayappa. But it’s actually MGR’s.”
A few crucial scenes were filmed in Jordan, and the crew was detained by the country’s army during the shoot. “When we were shooting at a shore in Jordan, we used a helicam. The army thought we were spying on them and took us to their camp. We had to play the scenes that were filmed in Jordan to prove that we’re innocent.”
En Vazhi Thani Vazhi features Meenakshi Dixit, Poonam Kaur, and Ashish Vidyarthi. Srikanth Deva has composed music.
