Dhruva Natchathiram Cinematographer

Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa will replace Santhana Krishnan as the Director of Photography on Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram.

Hindustan Times reports that this is the latest in a series of changes involving both cast and crew members in the film’s run up to production. Originally, Jomon T John was a part of the camera department, but walked out due to conflict over dates. Later, Santhana Krishnan, son of ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, was roped in for the project. Now Manoj will hopefully see the film through completion.

A source close to the unit told IANS, “The exact reason for Santhana’s exit from the project is yet unknown. He has been replaced by Manoj Paramahamsa, who has joined the latest schedule in Slovenia, Europe. Since Gautham has already worked with Manoj, he chose him over others.”

Manoj Paramahamsa earlier worked with Gautham Menon on Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya, and Nadunisi Naigal. Silverscreen earlier reported that the team was in Bulgaria shooting some of the action sequences. Manoj has flown in to join the team in Europe.
