Dhanush’s Second Directorial Is A Period Drama

Dhanush’s second directorial venture, produced by Sri Thenandal Films, is reportedly a period film set in the pre-Independence era.

A spokesperson of the actor, however, refused to divulge any details. “Only Dhanush sir and the actors know the script and the roles they are playing. Even the producer doesn’t know the script completely. Filmmakers these days are wary of revealing details of the story as cases are filed against films based on rumours, even before the film’s release. To avoid such crisis, the story is kept under wraps,” he told Silverscreen.

The Tamil-Telugu bilingual boasts of a stellar star cast with Dhanush, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Sarath Kumar, SJ Suriya, Srikanth and Aditi Rao Hydari in pivotal roles.
