Deadpool might be the most foul-mouthed Marvel superhero ever. But on Tuesday, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds proved that the anti-superhero in the red outfit could also be the funniest Oscar contender. “Only a few hours left for Oscar voting. Too late for a write-in campaign for an ineligible movie?” the actor tweeted on Monday, along with a picture of the superhero posing with a list of categories in which the film could win awards. This includes one for the Best Love Scene, apparently, for the disturbing ‘baby hand’ scene from the film.

In Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds plays Wade Wilson, a contract killer whose treatment for cancer turns him into an X-Men-like super-powered mutant. The film is fast becoming the highest grossing R-Rated film.
