Cricketer Dwayne Bravo To Make Bollywood Singing Debut In Tum Bin 2

West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo will make his Bollywood singing debut in director Anubhav Sinha’s Tum Bin 2. The film is a sequel to the 2001 musical Tum Bin, and stars Aditya Seal, Aashim Gulati, and Neha Sharma. Bravo will sing a fast-paced song titled ‘Jager-Bomb’.

“It will be incorporated in the story. We wanted an entertaining performer to sing and feature in the song so when I ran into Dwayne’s manager, Shehan Raj, we came up with the idea and set the ball rolling,” Anubhav Sinha told Times of India. The song is composed by Ankit Tiwari. Tiwari will also sing with Bravo and Harshi Mad.

“I’m nervous and excited at the same time. I hope the song becomes a bigger hit than my last single (‘Champion‘). That’s the vision to constantly challenge yourself to do better with every inning,” Bravo told IANS.

“It’s a very fast paced number and we are shooting in a night club with the star cast of Tum Bin 2,” he added.

Released in 2001, Tum Bin was directed and had 12 songs, which became quite popular. Most of the songs were composed by music director duo Nikhil-Vinay. Anubhav Sinha’s last directorial venture was Shahrukh Khan’s Ra One. Ra One had the song Chammak Challo by American singer Akon. Dwayne Bravo released the single Champion earlier this year. The song is considered the West Indies cricket team’s unofficial victory song, after they won the T20 World Cup in 2016. Bravo has also sung a Tamil song for the film Ula in 2014.
