Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum directed by ‘Odam’ Ilavarasu sees a major casting change with Atharvaa Murali replacing Kalaiarasan as the male lead. Actress Regina Cassandra will be playing the female lead in the film. Sources say that her role will be vastly different from the ‘innocent and homely woman’ roles she has been doing so far. The shooting of the film is expected to begin in September. The film will be co-produced by T Siva of Amma Creations, and 2MB & Big Print Pictures, and will feature one more actress, whose name has not been confirmed yet
Atharvaa is currently filming his maiden production venture Semma Botha Aagatha, directed by Badri Venkatesh, who directed his debut film Baana Kaathadi (2010). He has also signed up for director Ajay Gnanamuthu’s film which is expected to begin in July. Atharvaa’s Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu, is also ready for release.
