Arya Joins Suriya In KV Anand’s Action-Thriller

Photographs of Arya hanging out with Suriya and the cast of Suriya 37 (working title) in London has led to the speculation that the actor will be playing the antagonist in KV Anand’s action-thriller. It all started when the actor shared a photograph of himself, taken by Boman Irani, who is a part of Suriya 37, on Instagram. The caption said, “Thank you Boman Irani sir for this great pic. The photographer in you is still at his best.”

Later, the director confirmed the news on Twitter.

The film is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and the project officially went on floors on June 25 in London. The film also stars Sayyeshaa, Mohanlal, Boman Irani, Allu Sirish and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. This is the third time that Suriya-Anand have join hands, after working  in Ayan and Maattrraan. Harris Jayaraj is the music composer for the film.

According to a report in The News Minute, the film will be shot in nearly 10 different countries and the crew has already zeroed in on some picturesque locations in New York, Brazil, England, Hyderabad and New Delhi.

Meanwhile, Suriya and Selvaraghavan have collaborated for the first time for NGK. It will have a Diwali release along with Vijay’s Sarkar. The actor will also be teaming up next with director Sudha of Irudhi Suttru fame. He has also hinted at a collaboration with director Hari, but it won’t be of the Singham franchise.

Arya, who was last seen in Kadamban, has wrapped up the shoot of Ghajinikanth. The film is pegged to be a family drama, with a good ensemble cast. The film, directed by Santhosh P Jayakumar, stars Sayyeshaa as the female lead. Karunakaran, Sathish and Sampath form the rest of the cast. Produced by KE Gnanavel Raja, under Studio Green, the movie is an official remake of the 2015 Telugu movie, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy.
