Actor Arvind Swami is in talks with the Thani Oruvan team to play an important role in the film. The movie has Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in the lead and is being helmed by Jayam Raja. Earlier this week, there were reports that Arvind Swami would play a ‘negative’ role in this film, but the actor has taken to Twitter to set things straight. Here’s what he had to say :

AGS entertainment is producing Thani Oruvan and is sparing no expense to make sure that the film is a hit. This is Jayam Raja’s first original script – all of his earlier movies have been remakes. Actor Ganesh Venkatraman plays a pivotal role in this film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and Ramji is in charge of the cinematography. The movie will likely release by the end of this year.
