Anjali Patil, who debuted with Delhi in a Day, and performed in films like Mirzya, Finding Fanny, Naa Bangaaru Talli, has been cast in Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest Kaala.

According to a report in TOI, she will begin a month-long shooting schedule on 28th May.
Actress Sakshi Aggarwal also has a pivotal role in the project.

Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, Kaala is Rajini’s 164th film, and will be directed by Pa. Ranjith. While initially there was some confusion over the title Kaala – Karikalan, Pa. Ranjith soon clarified.
“Rajinikanth is a protector and destroyer in the film. He is a massive supporter of social causes, and at his most furious, he destroys opponents for the betterment of his people. That’s why we chose Kaala as the name. Kaala denotes Yama,” he told Silverscreen.
