Amy Jackson Gets Engaged To British Multi-Millionaire George Panayiotou

Amy Jackson, who played a robot in Shankar’s 2.0, is engaged to her longtime boyfriend George Panayiotou. The couple got engaged during their vacation in Zambia, and the actress took to Instagram to share the news.

Ever since news of Jackson’s engagement broke, social media is aflood with wishes for the couple. It is said that their wedding is set to happen sometime this year. Jackson and Panayiotou are currently vacationing in Africa’s Zambia and the actress has been sharing images and videos of her holiday.

Raised in Liverpool, Jackson began modelling at 16 after winning the Miss Teen World title in 2009 and has starred in several film across languages like Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.

Jackson’s fiancé, multi-millionaire George Panayiotou, is the son of British tycoon Andreas Panayiotou, the founder of The Ability Group and the owner of several luxury hotels including Hilton, Park Plaza and Double Tree. Recently, Jackson revealed that she has moved in with Panayiotou and the couple hosted a Christmas party for their close friends and family. The couple has been dating for two years now.

Amy Jackson was last seen in 2.0, the sequel to the 2010 movie Enthiran, directed by Shankar with Rajinikanth in the lead role. Jackson began her acting career in India with the 2011 Tamil movie Madraspattinam, a pre-Independence era love story directed by AL Vijay in which she played the role of a British woman. She has also acted in a few other Tamil films like Thangamagan, TheriGethu and and has also had starring roles in Telugu and Hindi films. She won the most promising newcomer award in 2012 for her Hindi film Ekk Deewana Tha, a remake of the Gautham Menon directorial Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa which featured Silambarasan and Trisha in the lead. She also recently starred in her first Hollywood film as Imra Ardeen in Supergirl.
