Sooryavanshi which is set to bring together Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty for the first time will release at 6 pm on 24 March 2020. Both, Producer-Director Rohit Shetty and Actor-Producer Akshay Kumar have decided to advance the film’s release.

“Capturing the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, which follows the next day, and also marks the beginning of vacation for schools and colleges, Sooryavanshi is poised to enjoy a festive and summer break release period,” a note to the press from the makers said.
Following Aditya Thackeray’s recent initiative, turning Mumbai into a 24×7 open city, Sooryavanshi will be screened all night in theatres in Mumbai.
Taling about this development Akshay Kumar said, “It was a unanimous decision to bring forward the release date of Sooryavanshi and enjoy the festivities with the audiences.”
Sooryavanshi is presented by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, in association with Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty.
