Actor Ajith, who is recuperating from a knee surgery, will start shooting for his next film with director Siva from the first week of June. Sathyajothi Films, the producers, have paid an advance towards the pre-production work. Siva is currently finetuning his script. Siva and Ajith have earlier teamed up for two films, Veeram and Vedalam. Due to the ‘V’-named titles for both films, there is speculation that this film will start with the same letter. Vedalam also starred Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon, and was one of 2015’s most successful films.
