Aishwarya Rajesh signs up for her second Telugu film opposite actor Uday Shankar. This move comes even before the commencement of her Telugu debut with Vijay Devarakonda.

News regarding the film with Vijay Devarakonda emerged in October last year, when she posted a photo with the actor from the puja function of the movie.

Directed by Kranthi Madhav of Onamalu fame, the movie also features Raashi Khanna and Izabelle Leite in the lead. It is rumoured to be a comedy, produced by KS Rama Rao under the banner of Creative Commercials. Music is composed by Gopi Sundar.

Cinema Express reports that the actress has signed up for her next Telugu project, directed by NV Nirmal Kumar. It features Uday Shankar, who is known for his role in Aata Kadara Shiva, and has directed the Tamil film Salim.

The movie, a family drama, will be produced by Adiroh Creative Signs. The launch happened yesterday, and was attended by Allu Aravind, Karunakaran, Dolly, and Chandra Siddhartha, among others.

Sriram Raju and Bharat Ram, the producers of the movie said, “It is a holistic family drama with a sports element. The shoot has begun and we are planning to release the film during summer.”

Sanjay Swaroop, Pradeep Rawat and Roopa Lakshmi play supporting roles. Music is composed by Gifton Elias. Bhupathi Raja has written the script, and dialogues are by Madhu and Rajendra Kumar.

In Tamil, Aishwarya Rajesh is gearing up to play GV Prakash’s sister in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming production. Though there hasn’t been a confirmation from the part of the makers or the actress, an article in a Tamil daily says that Aishwarya Rajesh will play an important role in the film.
