With nothing new to obsess about, most news agencies yesterday were forced to speculate on stories of model Iulia Vantur’s alleged Karva Chauth celebration. A few even went to the extent of checking with ‘close sources’ for confirmation. Meanwhile, with barely a week left before its release, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and its team have received assurances from Home Minister Rajnath Singh that there would be no problems with the film’s release, scheduled for October 28. Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo, for instance, continues to draw crowds, and has reportedly earned over Rs. 42 crore, despite negative reviews from critics.

There’s also Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s new promo, which some fans have been watching on repeat.


Home Minister Rajnath Singh has assured members of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that the film will have a smooth release on October 28.


The Writer’s Association has washed its hands off the Bogan plagiarism case. The complaint is currently under investigation at the Commissioner’s office. Director Vikraman, through a press release, said: “Both Lakshman and Anthony have taken inspiration from Hollywood films for their scripts. This is a strict violation of our association’s terms. And so, we have decided not to interfere in this issue any longer.”

Anthony’s behaviour during the entire issue was also condemned by the association and its members.
