Actress Saritha’s son, Shravan, will make his acting debut with Malayalam movie Kalyanam.
Salt Mango Tree fame director Rajesh Nair is at the helm of the project.
At an event to promote the film, Saritha shared the stage with ex-husband actor -politician Mukesh.
Saritha told Silverscreen:
“It was not difficult at all. We both came together for a common purpose – our son entering an industry we both love. So we put our differences aside. It is imperative that we present a united front at a time when Shravan is entering a new phase in his life. That was more important than all our past troubles.”

Mukesh plays Shravan’s father in the film. Varsha Bollamma, who rose to fame with her Dubsmash videos, will play the female lead. A romantic comedy, the film is also likely to see Saritha in a guest role.
At present, Saritha lives in Dubai with her children. “Many acting offers have come my way. But, I’m yet to decide,” the actress said, adding, “My children are important to me, and I’ll do everything in my power to make sure they get a comfortable life.”
