Acclaimed cinematographer Ramachandra Babu will mark his directorial debut with the Malayalam movie Professor Dinkan. The 3D movie will see Dileep and Namitha Pramod as the main leads.

In an interview with the Times of India, Ramachandra Babu says that Namitha would play a magician’s daughter in the movie. “The magician would be played by scriptwriter, Rafi. He incidentally trains Dileep’s character in magic tricks from his childhood,” Babu said.
Dileep and Namitha have previously worked together in Sound Thoma, Villali Veeran, and Chandrettan Evideya. The director also added that the romance between the two actors won’t be the sole focus of the movie.
The film will go on floors next week. The supporting cast includes Aju Varghese, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Srinda.
